“Patient Voice Forward” Swoop Campaign Wins 2026 PM360 Trailblazer Award

Putting real patient experiences at the center of pharma marketing goes beyond social media

NEW YORK, NY, Oct 9, 2026 – Swoop, a leader in AI-driven, data-powered, and privacy-compliant healthcare engagement, won a 2026 PM360 Trailblazer Award in the Social Media Campaign category for “Patient Voice Forward”.

The award, announced at the PM360 Trailblazer Awards ceremony on September 29 in New York City, recognizes Swoop’s patient-first approach to rare disease marketing and the campaign’s demonstration that patient insight can strengthen commercial strategy. Launched during Rare Disease Month, “Patient Voice Forward” leverages real patient and caregiver insights from Swoop Communities by MyHealthTeam to illuminate the challenges people face across diagnosis, treatment, and support — and help healthcare marketers build more relevant communication, education, and support strategies.

“This campaign reflects a simple belief: better patient engagement begins with listening,” said Swoop’s Chief Marketing Officer Marcella Milliet Sciorra. “When real patient experiences shape how brands understand the people they serve and communicate across the health journey, the work becomes more relevant, more respectful, and more useful to patients and the brands working to support them.”

Launched during Rare Disease Month, the campaign ran daily throughout February and extended into March across organic and paid LinkedIn content, patient stories, research-led creative, executive thought leadership, and partner amplification. Grounded in insights from more than 20 rare disease Communities, “Patient Voice Forward” brought real patient and caregiver perspectives into the conversation, highlighting the lived experiences, questions, and support gaps that shape the rare disease journey.

By bringing real patient and caregiver perspectives into a sustained industry conversation, the campaign helped brand marketers better understand the rare disease experience—not as a single awareness moment, but as a complex journey shaped by diagnostic delays, treatment questions, and ongoing support needs. That deeper understanding gave marketers a stronger foundation for developing more relevant communication, education, and support strategies.

The recognition adds to Swoop’s growing record of industry honors and reinforces the company’s commitment to improving patient outcomes through patient-informed, privacy-safe healthcare marketing.
