Data on recently approved vitiligo treatment helps dermatologists set realistic expectations
For this research presented at the 2025 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference, 309 members of MyVitiligoTeam were interviewed about treatment experiences, including 62 people currently taking a recently approved FDA treatment. The research suggested that re-pigmentation can take time and the need for patience. Importantly, the findings provide dermatologists with data to help them set clear expectations for the time it typically takes to start seeing results, which can improve treatment adherence.
