AD has a moderate to severe impact on quality of life
People living with atopic dermatitis (AD) often struggle with its physical symptoms and mental health toll. This research presented at the 2025 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference aims to better understand the desired outcomes, concerns, and treatment satisfaction levels amongst patients in the MyEczemaTeam who are living with AD. The 104 members in the study reported symptoms including itching, redness, sensitive skin, and cracked/crusty skin, and their top three treatment goals were consistent with those symptoms. While the majority use over-the-counter treatments, a small number rely on prescription non-steroid creams.
