Ron Elwell, CEO and Founder

Ron brings 18 Years of President/CEO level experience in high tech and online media. Elwell’s past expereince includes:

 

CEO Goal.com, the leading on-line media company in Football (Soccer).  Goal, a global site in 17 languages, became the 10th largest sport site in the world and the largest Football site and was acquired by Perform Media Group.

 

Partner, Bessemer Ventures.  As a Partner at Bessemer for 8 years Elwell made a number of investments in advertising, wireless and new media.

 

CEO Octave Communications, a leader in the design and manufacturer of the telecom infrastructure necessary to provide voice and data conferencing services.  Octave was acquired by Voyant Communications.

 

 

 

 

 

Simeon Simeonov, CTO and Founder

Simeon is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He was the founding CTO at Evidon, the online advertising industry’s first privacy compliance platform, and Thing Labs, a social media startup acquired by AOL. Sim used to be executive in residence at General Catalyst Partners and technology partner at Polaris Venture Partners. He helped start five companies the firms invested in.

 

Previously, Sim was vice president of emerging technologies and chief architect at Macromedia (now Adobe). Earlier, he was a founding member and chief architect at Allaire, one of the first Internet platform companies whose flagship product, ColdFusion, ran thousands of sites such as Priceline and MySpace.

 

Sim serves on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX), the largest technology non-profit in New England. Sim invests in and mentors passionate entrepreneurs through FastIgnite and TechStars. He lives in the Greater Boston area with his wife, son and an adopted dog named Tye.

 

 

 

 

Scott Rines, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CPG

Scott has over 20 years of experience in sales leadership and general management. In 1990 he joined Smith Kline Beecham in field sales managing key Drug and Grocery retailers.

 

After leaving SKB in 1996 he began his career with Catalina Marketing the leader in behavior-based marketing. During this 14-year tenure at Catalina Marketing he led and built teams that consistently hit corporate goals and objectives. Most recently he was the SVP of sales running a $100MM+ business. In this role, he developed large-scale campaigns with fortune 50 companies.

 

Scott has a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kurt Holloway - Executive Vice President and General Manager of Business Development

Kurt is a veteran Business Development professional and was most recently SVP Global Business Development for MediaSpectrum. Prior to MediaSpectrum, he helped lead publisher acquisition efforts at Apple, Inc., where he was Senior Manager for strategic alliance and partnership development for Apple’s iAd Mobile Advertising Network. Previously, he spent several years with Quattro Wireless – whose leading mobile advertising network was acquired by Apple in December 2009. As Quattro’s Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Holloway was directly responsible for leading the worldwide global expansion of the Network into key international markets. He succeeded in helping Quattro’s key Fortune 500 clients to realize unprecedented reach, targeting, and ROI for their mobile marketing ad campaigns and the highest revenues possible for its publishing partners. These included such media brands as New York Times, MySpace, Fox Interactive, Tribune Interactive, and InterActive Corporation.

 

Prior to his work at Apple and Quattro, Mr. Holloway held additional roles at Everyday Wireless, Inc., Sprint Nextel Corporation, and Nextel Communications.

 

Kurt is a graduate of Northeastern University where he majored in Business Administration, Management and Entrepreneurship.
