Suzanne Watson

 

Suzanne brings a wealth of experience and insight into the marketing of products and services to consumers.  Currently Suzanne is SVP Global Sales and Marketing at GoPro, the world’s leading activity image capture company.  Prior to GoPro Suzanne spent 10 years at Procter & Gamble, where her last postion was to lead the brand building and marketing for the four billion dollar fabric care portfolio that included Tide, Cheer, Era and Dreft.

 

Lydia Parnes

 

The former director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Lydia is a highly regarded privacy expert. As director of the BCP, one of the FTC’s two law-enforcement bureaus and the nation’s only federal consumer-protection agency, Lydia oversaw data security enforcement efforts and the development of the FTC’s approach to online advertising. She testified on numerous occasions on the benefits of a nationwide data breach law, the risks of legislating in the technology area, and the need to assist consumers who become victims of identity theft. In addition, Lydia has extensive experience with the application of consumer-protection principles within the technology market. In 2006, she served as the deputy executive director of the President’s Task Force on Identity Theft, coordinating the efforts of 17 federal agencies in developing a national strategic plan to combat identity theft in both the private and public sectors.

 

Lydia currently advises companies on how to maintain the highest standards for the collection, protection, and use of consumer data while pursuing their business interests. She helps clients respond to security breaches, including defending against federal investigations. She also helps them develop and implement comprehensive privacy compliance programs and understand the nuances of regulation and self-regulation in the privacy arena.
 

Ed Kozek

 
Ed leads Engineering and Product Development for Evidon. Before joining the company, Ed was Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at Right Media, the first and largest online advertising exchange. When it was acquired by Yahoo! in 2007, Right Media was processing more than 8 billion impressions per day and supporting tens of thousands of businesses.

 

As Senior Director of Engineering at Yahoo!, Ed also worked on Yahoo’s APT advertising platform as well as number complex integration projects. Ed has also held roles as Vice President of Engineering of Bounty Jobs, an online marketplace in the recruiting industry; Senior Software Engineer at Spotfire, Inc. (acquired by TIBCO in 2007); Marketing Manager at Millipore, Inc.; and Writer and Editor at Hoover’s Online. Ed has a BA from the University of Massachusetts.

 

Mike Baker

 

Mike Baker, President and CEO of DataXu, has been pioneering digital media platforms for 20 years and is a widely recognized thought leader in interactive advertising. Before co-founding DataXu, he was vice president at Nokia, where he created and ran Nokia Interactive. Baker came to Nokia through its acquisition of mobile advertising leader Enpocket in 2007, where he was the founding investor and CEO. He has also been executive vice president at Engage Technologies, an innovator in online advertising and behavioral targeting. An active angel investor in digital media, he is currently chairman of the board of Nexage, a mobile advertising solutions provider.

 

Greg Martin

 

Greg Martin is the founder and Managing Director of Archer Venture Capital.

 

Prior to founding Archer, Greg was a partner with Redpoint Ventures, a firm he joined in 1999. Previously, Greg was with Brentwood Venture Capital in Los Angeles.

 

Greg focuses on early-stage technology opportunities and has led investments in consumer internet, social media, mobile applications, cloud computing, business services, digital media and communications companies.

 

He is currently a Director of Leadpoint, WebVisible, 2tor, SocialVibe, ConsumerDirect, Zerolag, and Impact Radius. Greg also led investments in Networks in Motion (sold to TSYS), TelASIC Communications (sold to MTI), Simula Labs (sold to Exist Labs), SOA Software and was actievely involved with Redpoint’s investment in MySpace (sold to NEWS).
